Callie J. Channell is an Associate Attorney at Ott & Associates Co., LPA, concentrating in the areas of real estate law, condominium association law, business law, corporate law, creditor’s rights, and litigation.
Before joining Ott & Associates, Callie gained critical real estate and contract law experience, proficiently handling foreclosure matters, advising financial institutions facing a variety of loss mitigation and compliance issues, and litigating and resolving a wide-array of real estate cases while protecting creditors' rights. She has developed a strong, positive working relationship with judges, magistrates and mediators throughout Ohio.
She brings with her 10 years of managing departments such as Litigated/Contested Matters, Loss Mitigation and Deeds. Callie is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Callie was in charge of tracking and protecting mechanic's lien rights, in multiple states, for a large, national building material supplier. Her litigation and mediation experience allows her to negotiate cases in a smooth, efficient and professional manner.
Callie is currently an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Summit County Bar Association. She also volunteers as a Summit County Court-Appointed Special Advocate.
Callie graduated from the University of Akron in 2000 with a Bachelor of Social Work degree. She received her law degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 2012.
